About Me
I have been playing and performing the guitar since 1988. I studied privately for 3 years under Ron Renick in Lorain, OH which was a great foundation for my musical journey.
My first live band was the contemporary music group at St. Mary's Church in my hometown of Vermilion, OH. From there I branched out by joining the jazz combo that accompanied the high school show choir. Then, while attending The Ohio State University I performed with a number of talented artists in the area. I recorded 2 full length albums and 3 EP's. Through those bands, I found myself entertaining at Nationwide Arena, Germaine Amphitheater, coffee houses, bars, beaches, festivals, frat houses, schools and campfires. I have been lucky enough to share the stage with national acts such as O.A.R., Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Staind, Buckcherry, and Saliva.
After graduation, I began teaching informally from time to time until 2008 when I founded "Star Guitar". I believe that the guitar is an extremely rewarding instrument and I hope to help you achieve a level of proficiency where you can benefit from its rewards.
